DROP OFF SITE FOR THE SOUTHERN MARYLAND FOOD BANK

With Thanksgiving and Christmas approaching, the on-going need for assistance with food

donations is greater than ever. The Long and Foster's Waldorf Office is pleased to

announce that we continue to be a permanent Drop Off Site for the Southern Maryland Food Bank.

Please feel free to drop off any non-perishable food items at our office during regular business hours.

Monday thru Friday: 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

There is such a great need to support the Southern Maryland Food Bank.

NEW TAX CREDITS AND TAX CREDIT EXTENSIONS

As everyone now knows the First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit of $6,500 has been extended for qualified purchasers who enter into a contract prior to April 30, 2010 and settle on their new home by June 30, 2010. However, are you also aware of the $6,500 Tax Credit for qualified homeowners who sell their current residence and purchase another home, These homeowners must have used the home sold or being sold as a principal residence consecutively for five of the previous eight years. The contract for these sellers must also be entered into by April 30, 2010 and the property must go to settlement by June 30, 2010.
